Tale of Two Sisters: Parent's Worst Nightmare

This is also another really good asian horror that was made into an american film that sucked by comparison. Let me start by saying that I feel for this girl. I feel so sorry for her and the trauma that caused her to act the way that she does.

1. What was your reaction to what you just read? Well I guess I am left in awe a bit. Like it is a feeling of dread and yet at the same time it is a feeling of complacence. Like the whole being used as a breading ground is interesting because it seems there is a bond that is formed between the Tlic and those Terrans who become N'Tlic. Like it is a survival thing on both ends and all highly political. Like I agree with Gan that if this is the process it should be normalized so that it isn't so shocking in the end. The Martian: Potatoes, Poop, and Pioneers -

I am not a huge fan of reading science fiction, rather it has been such a long time since I ever read any science fiction in the slightest. I mean, I think the last piece of literature I actually read on the matter is Ender's Game and lets just say after about hearing about the author I didn't touch another book in the series. So the Martian, proved to be very interesting to me in the sense I wanted to keep reading it. Now the genre itself is super appealing to me. I love space things and anything to do with the future. I love talking about where our world is heading tech wise- etc. The Martian specifically should just be a lesson to everyone how you must survive and hopefully, you have former crew members and some competent people willing to come for you after getting stuck on literally another planet. The Burrowers: Western Meets Horror

This is probably one of my favorite horror movies that I have seen yet to date in terms of seeing something new with horror. I loved this movie- and it was due to purely its concept. Not only does it address it's racism of the time and doesn't try to avoid it with both African American's and Native Americans- but actually addresses it. Without spoiling anything because I encourage anyone who is a fan of monster movies to watch it, my favorite part was just the attention to detail on all the characters and the reaction. No one is doing western horror. I have no idea why because there is so much that can be done with the concept and it is such a time of discovery and bandits and really hits home with those who grew up watching those old spaghetti western that could really speak to an older audience. I just think it is amazing. Like Red Dead Redemption the game had such a wide reception that I think that it is a genre that isn't really addressed in the more modern literatu...
